Bill Richardson to Endorse???
Here's an interesting article about both candidates badgering Richardson for his support. The fact he's not unequivocally supporting Hillary is perplexing to me...I would love to see an upset and have him endorse Obama.
And on another note. That photo was taken at the Governor's mansion in NM. Not to be a fashionista or anything, but wouldn't you expect a little better taste in decor? I mean, it is the Governor's mansion...I'd expect more than a tacky couch and a bad dog sculpture on the side table...I'm a man who just recently refurnished his apartment...So now I unfortunately notice crappy furniture. I'm just sayin'...
I wonder to myself - does Bill Clinton spend every super bowl with Bill Richardson? Or is it just this year? I love fair weather friends like Bill...
John McCain is so funny and with it. He's not an artifact by any means.
"It's Called Al Qaeda in Iraq" - You're kidding me, right? That's your big joke?
Check the smack down from Obama. McCain - drop out now. You are so out of touch it makes me want to bite my own fingers off to think anyone would take you seriously...
He really should bail now...All that's going to happen in November is McCain will embarrass himself nationally and drive his wife back into binging on Percocet and stealing prescription drugs from charities.
I always feel badly for young people who support old conservative crows like McCain (the kids behind McCain in that video) - they're zombies, dead before they hit 25...Mindless, clueless - poisoned by their own parents' silly ignorance & political allegiances...I mean, at least Romney had a good tan - that's something young people can (and should) get behind.
From now on we'll just call him John "Hoisted by His Own Petard" McCain. And yeah - that's my big joke. It's not remotely funny...but that's how I roll...

Ohio Debate...
So that was a big snore. Although I feel it further solidified Obama's character as someone who can lead. Hillary didn't come off too bad - except her silly comments at the beginning about always getting the first question...
Truth be told: I'm too sleepy to comment really...
Been making some good progress on the draft...Been line editing chapter-by-chapter. There's still a lot of weeds to uproot due to streamlining the antagonists' storyline; however, it's moving along as quickly as possible.
Tonight, I'm mostly surprised at how well Daft Punk goes with writing a horror novel. Orbit - my one true hommie - is always good for moral support too...Spacecat's off pouting somewhere...
Good job, McCain.
There are unfortunate campaign decisions and then there are telling instances like this. McCain has no class and is simply a part of that old boys club.
Just in case you were looking for something ignorant and offensive. Here you go:
The guy can barely hold back from throwing down racial slurs.
McCain/Clinton 08!
Hillary has done herself in. Even if she wins as a result of a superdelegate coup, she will still lose the general election. She is despised by Republicans and has alienated so many Democrats (yours truly included - I will never vote for Hillary Clinton) that it will be impossible for her to defeat McCain. Count me in for Darth Nader at that point...
Her nagging candidacy is starting to erode people's faith in the Democratic party and she is giving McCain great fodder to throw back at Obama if he succeeds on to the general election. Here's a good video of Hillary looking foolish. Strange to watch her mock really strong, feasible ideas and hear people laugh and cheer about it. Fools. She's sounding a lot like the other party...Cynical Jackasses for President!
One minute she's kissing Obama's ass, telling him how honored she is to sit next to him. The next minute it's "Shame on you Barack Obama" the next minute it's purportedly circulating photos about Obama's past that will scare Whitey...Here is the meaning of Obama's robes...
At this point in time, I believe Hillary has done irreparable harm to her reputation and whatever is left of her political career. Think about it - if Obama had lost the last 11 showings, would he even be standing? Not a chance. Everyone would be screaming for him to step aside...And if he chose to remain in the race only to constantly throw mud at Hillary - how would he be viewed? He'd be hated - he'd come off as a bitter, powerhungry sore loser...Yet some how Hillary has done exactly this and in the process convinced herself and possibly the state of Ohio that she's still a valid candidate.
What's worse about this is she's now gone full slash-and-burn and is working to harm Obama's reputation. Good thinking Hillary - I'm sure McCain is all ears...
I think what's going on here is after her cordial demeanor during the last debate in Texas did nothing for her numbers, she realized she might as well go to slash-and-burn to see where it would get her. Secondly, she's using this tactic to try and counter Obama's image as a fresh change to old politics. Hillary figures if she can paint him as a mudslinger, then he'll be viewed as same-old-same-old...The most telling part of this is the Obama campaign has been mailing the same message since the beginning of the campaign - now all of a sudden Hillary's got issue. Weak.
Let's hope March 4 is the last we have to see of Hillary Clinton this year.
Essentially what happened here was Texas Republicans tried to underhandedly redistrict polling stations to disenfranchise black voters. So what did these voters do? Shut down an entire highway as they walked 7 miles to the polling station. Love it. Love...
And if that doesn't have you feeling a little rebellious. Here you go (This is the part where you turn up the volume):
I'm growing pretty tired of this style over substance debate. Just in case you happen to be one of these people buying off on this...Here are Obama's stances on the issues...Man can and will get it done! I recommend downloading his blueprint for change.
The only part of that speech which is odd to me comes around 5:41 - he says, "Everybody will be able to get health insurance that is at least as good as the health insurance I receive as a member of Congress..." (or something like that)
Isn't Obama in the senate? Slip of the tongue, I assume...
Dallas doesn't exactly have a sterling recrod on "security lapses"...If you recall.
Evil Doll...
I absolutely love this news story...If only it weren't a hoax of some-sort...
Ever since I saw Magic as a child, I've had a special place in my heart for demon dolls...In fact, I own one!
Now if only Dr. Scops would start threatening me...Life would finally be interesting...
Clinton/Obama Debate...Book News
First off, I just wanted to report in on my new book. I have been making good progress on it. There was something in the mix I didn't like that I couldn't quite nail down. I spent the past week basically working on the backstory/outline in hopes to flush it out. After this was completed, the problem became glaringly obvious. Feels like I finally pulled an unseen splinter from my sore thumb, thinking my hand was broken...
Hey, I'll admit it...I've seen better analogies. I'm 80% sure that doesn't even make sense. Oh, well - I'm short on time today.
So onto the debate. I thought it was pretty tame. And surprisingly - i have to be fair here - despite her lame Xerox comment, I thought Hillary came off as a pretty decent person. I even believe her comments on health care outshined Obamba's. But in the end...
I'm too tired to finish this post - so there you have it!

Obsessed...
So I think my stake in this Democratic primary process has gone too far. I actually lost sleep last night worrying about today's debate...
I'd read an article citing that Barack has a cold, so I kept tossing & turning last night worrying it would affect his performance this evening...
Maybe I should send him a batch of chicken soup...

Clinton in Texas...
This is what you call bad press...The first paragraph sums it up...
"Sen. Hillary Clinton went so far Wednesday to try to put her 10 consecutive electoral losses behind her that she almost left the country."
Even Bill Clinton is basically admitting defeat...
I was driving home from Krav Maga tonight when I heard news of the Wisconsin victory - started honking my horn & yelling like I see those Laker fans do...
"One of us is ready to be commander in chief in a dangerous world," Clinton said at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio.
Sounds like fear mongering to me - I envision McCain/Clinton 08!
Oh yeah - there's swears in the comic...so...well...cope with it...
One other thing I'd like undecided voters to consider: Obama was the underdog in this till his sweep last week. During his time as the underdog, he focused on the issues and ran a respectable campaign. You didn't catch him going after Hillary with silly accusations or slash-and-burn rhetoric. The moment Hillary gets behind - she's all negative, slash-and-burn central.
Why? Because she has no substance. If she did - she'd stay calm, stay classy and focus on the issues - focus on why she's the candidate for the nomination. Now she's just coming off like that annoying tattle tale in the 3rd grade desperate for teacher's attention...Concede! Quit! Go Away!
With Love, Brian Gage.
Big Day!
I have my fingers crossed for another sweep...But I have a lingering doubt it's not going to happen...Mostly due the onslaught of negative attacks from Clinton. I recant on my previous statement - I now have a sneaking suspicion that it may scare off weaker minded voters.
Speaking of dirty tricks from Hillary Clinton - check out how low she's willing to go.

Copy Cat? Get real...
Hmmm. So there's accusations flying around today that Barack plagiarized his "Just Words" speech...
Here's the original delivered in 06 by Governor Patrick of Mass...
But wait! Before you go off screaming "copy cat" - I suggest you read this. You see, Obama & Patrick are friends and collaborators. Obama was even present when Patrick gave this speech...This article was written last April and cites both men share ideas/themes...So really, Mrs. Clinton? You're picking the wrong fight here...And hell - if the shoe fits...
The point is: if the Clinton Campaign is swinging this low...Like - this is all they have...Then please concede, Mrs. Clinton - you're a rotten witch.
Love, Brian Gage.

Hillary Shreds...
This is so stupid that I feel somewhat compelled to gouge my eyes out for watching...
"Just Words" Rebuttle...
Another fantastic speech...
I think my new hobby might be listening to Obama speeches...
Obama's Yes We Can...
Fantastic speech...Simply iconic...I believe this will go down as one of the great political speeches of our time...
Sure I'm bias...But this man has to win...Don't fail us Wisconsin!
Funny - my hommie Sander was in town last week and we got to hang out for a bit...I was complaining how I used to be politically active and go to rallies and what not - and how now-a-days I was simply politically dead. I could care less..."You'll get it back," he said...We just laughed it off and downed a few Negro Modelos...Well, at least I did since Sander had given up alcohol for lent...Anyway...
But seemingly overnight Barack Obama has inspired me...I feel like a new man - optimistic, involved & ready to do whatever I can to see Obama get elected...I'm ready to fight for this man...
On the topic of Barack's caving to the energy industry. Here's a link that shows Hillary supported the bill(about mid-way down)...But now she is using it against Obama...
I'm of the belief that every negative ad, etc she throws out is only further sealing her demise. We voters are sick of it! Mrs. Clinton is certainly not without several skeletons in the closet - so these types of attacks wash her credibility away, making her appear what she really is - a power hungry lie monger who will do or say anything to get the nomination...
Boredom is a beautiful thing. I thought it would be more interesting to do the round up as a comic today (click for larger view):
Hillary Gets Desperate. Resorts to circus pandering...Advice to politicians: never use props...oy! Maybe Hillary should start doing some basic hand magic as well. She can talk about peace in the Middle East then make a dove appear - something easy that will really tickle old & young alike.
I mean if you break it down...
This photo should be really troubling to anyone who supports her. Think about this: There is a powerful, global Democratic think tank gathering around the person they think will be the next President of the United States...and someone says, "Hey, you know what would be really hot - after you challenge Barack to a debate you should raise up some boxing gloves into the air...."
Then Hillary sits back and thinks it over and says, "Great idea - it's not corny at all - can we get some gloves from a second hand store?"
I just can't help but think about the poor admin who had to drive to the sporting goods store..."Ummm. Hi, I'm Mike - I work for the Clinton campaign...I really need to buy some cheap boxing gloves - Mrs. Clinton needs them for her rally tonight just to show America how very serious she is about the nomination..."
Low budget pandering. I bet they played Eye of the Tiger at the rally's end...
The Two Towers - Romney AKA Too Tan endorses The Monger...
Will this be the end of Barackman?

Just incase...
you were sitting around thinking, "Hey, I haven't seen anything outrageously lame and embarrassing today..."
You can blame Phil for discovering this little gem...
Here's the Obama version...Which shows a lot of taste, poise & talent...It's worlds better...
And it kind of reminds me of this little ditty:
Unhappy.
Take a look at this video to see what we're up against.
Essentially Clinton can lose every remaining contest & the popular vote - and still get the nomination. If that happens, well - so much for Democracy...Not like it hasn't been on the ropes anyway since the 2000 election...but I'm really hopefully the Democrats will finally do the right thing!
I don't support Hillary what-so-ever, but if she goes into the convention with the above scenario and still contends she's a viable candidate...Well, then might as well vote for this joke...
And on a side note - listening to John McCain's speeches is the sort of anodyne sensation I imagine you'd experience after a prefrontal lobotomy...
And can you really support a candidate for President that pronounces it "Warshington"? Lord...But now that I see it spelled out, I realize it's just a Freudian Slip on the part of McCain...Man loves to put the WARS in Washington...
CNN analysis. Props to the guy in the middle for the most idiotic political analysis I've ever heard. Foolish.
Camp Clinton is getting absolutely trounced and they know it. Not only are her ranks being shaken up, but this is simply terrible. It's not the lack of congratulations that bothers me - but the notion she's not acknowledging the victories shows just how delusional and dishonest she is. Hillary thinks if she ignores it, the problem may go away. I'm truly hoping she unravels in the coming weeks and it's caught on camera. Big tears though. Big, sobbing, wet tears...
The only reason Mrs. Clinton is still in the game is due to the super delegate count...which again is purely corrupt by its nature...
For example - Obama won DC by a crushing 75% of the vote. Hillary hasn't won a contest since Super Tuesday. Eight losses straight, I believe; yet, Obama earns only 4 Super Delegates from DC to Hillary's 9. Maryland is an even worse example...
Killing me!
So the only way we're going to come out of this on top is if Obama continues to deliver these types of populist blows to Clinton. The good news is that Obama has taken the lead (narrowly) even with the super delegates factored in - that's a substantial figure...even the most skilled spin doctor will have difficulty talking around it...
But what am i rocking out to you ask? Well obviously Viva Hate...
Big day! I'm refreshing CNN probably every 2 minutes in hopes to get some early results.
It's no secret I'm hoping for another Obama sweep. If that happens, it will be incredibly difficult for Clinton to spin the viability of her candidacy - she'll be relying on super delegate cronieism at that point. I'm of the belief the general public will grow tired and cynical of her trying to explain how that is a valid path to victory. Everyone sees right though it.
This article seems to think Obama's momentum will carry though several weeks.
I think her answer to the super delegate question posed at the end truly shows what a wretched, dishonest person she is.
You can count me as a registered Dem who will abstain from voting if she grabs the nomination due to a super delegate coup.
This super delegate b.s. really burns me up. Make no mistake - super delegates are nothing more than a good-old-boy elitist insiders club installed into the political process to insulate against voter revolt.
I've always been an admirer of Nancy Pelosi - I think she's incredibly astute & a much better candidate than Hillary for a presidential run; however, this video really puts a damper on her for me. She tries to spin the significance of super delegates, and poorly dances around the fact that the super delegate institution is purely corrupt - anti-Democracy incarnate...Guess Nancy's on the other team after all...
And if that doesn't depress you, this should do the trick:
Love me the Sonic Youth (and Karen Carpenter for that matter)!
Rock it...
What am i rocking out to these days, you ask?
Scary Monsters has been it for about the past 2 weeks...
And a reminder to all friends & family (and anyone interested in being either)... If you don't love Pat Benatar...You don't love me...
This video is practically my life story:
It seems just like yesterday that dad kicked me out of the house for wearing scrunchies, and I had to turn to hooking for $$...Only to finally defeat my pimp with a wicked dance-off...
Which as you may or may not know is how I settle all my battles...
Phil sent me this link two days ago, and I've had trouble sleeping ever since...

Bring it home, baby!
That makes it a weekend sweep for Obama! I love it.
I just donated a tidy little sum to the man. How about donating? Even a small donation will do. It's good for your soul.
Related: Shake up at camp Clinton after Obama sweep. I've got a good idea for a shake up - how about conceding, Mrs. Clinton?
Good news...
So apparently the writer's strike is coming to a close.
This is good news for me...I was in negotiations to sell a film option for Burn, Christmas!! Burn!! just before the strike hit, but everyone interested bugged off when it became official.
I'm not sure if things will be back on the table after the strike is over, but at least there won't be any industry barriers...
Who knows...I keep getting bites here and there for BXB & The Saddest Little Robot - this was definitely the most serious inquiry I'd ever received, so I'm hoping for the best...It would be a dream come true for me if any of my books ever made it to a movie - so I'll take any positive thoughts you can send my way!
Compare to this lackluster speech. snore...i wish she'd just drop out...
Let's not even talk about this old fuddy-duddy...about as out of touch as it gets...I preferred the tan gameshow host looking guy...and that's saying something.
And for the record - yes...I just used the term fuddy-duddy...
